Almost, Maine - March 17, 23 & 24

This play by John Cariani is a whimsical look at the joys and perils of romance. On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not what it seems.  Beneath the glow of the northern lights in a star-filled sky the residents of Almost, a town that is almost a town, find themselves falling in and out of love in surprising and often hilarious ways.  Hearts are broken and knees are bruised, but the hearts mend and the bruises heal –almost- in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. Don’t miss these nine tales of love in the time of frostbite - tales that aim for the heart by way of the funny bone.
Come see this awarding winning play that will make you laugh and cry with stories of love lost, love found in Almost, Maine.

About the play:
”Almost, Maine” is the critically acclaimed, award winning creation of Maine-born actor/playwright John Caraini -- and his very first script -- that was developed by the Cape Cod Theatre Project in 2002. When it world-premiered in 2004 at the Portland, Maine Stage Company, it went on to become the most successful play in that company's 32 year history. In fact, the prestigious Wall Street Journal (among other influential publications) lauded “Almost, Maine” as one of the best productions at a regional theater in 2004-2005. In early 2006, the show opened Off-Broadway to even more acclaim by impressed critics and enchanted audiences
